People say sticks and stones may break your bones but words will never hurt you… In today’s society, that is completely false. Words have the power to start wars, change history.. Ofcourse they hurt. Such a naive and simplistic thought.
A 13 year old girl hung herself because of bullying.. Confrontations at school and thigh text. Calling her a slut, whore. Rumors. this’d salt with this for 8 months, it isickens me. How could people be like this? So cruel.. No morals, vicious preteens and adults alike… now a family doesnt have a daughter. The father and mother won’t be sending her off to college. Seeing her graduate. The dad won’t be walkin her down the isle. No family of her own, no life, future or husband fir her. Why? Bc a group of people thought it was in their best interest to verbally and physically harass a girl that probably meant no harm or I’ll fate. Just caught in a bad deciion or situation. It was said she had a “loving nature” and therefore found it difficult to fight back. She didn’t deserve this. I feel my eyes watering up at the thought. To me she may be a total stranger. The familys existance unknown to me before this, but even so.. It hurts me to see people having to deal with this. They shouldn’t have to go through this. For it to get to the point where she takes her life.
